We have all heard it before in the past, “all you need is a little can-do attitude”. This can-do attitude is the backbone to every great business.
As an entrepreneur, the mind set to buckle down and get work done is needed on a constant basis. And at some point, I think it’s fair to say that all entrepreneurs have had this “screw it, let's do it” moment. It’s the moment they realized that the idea they have been working on could truly work and make other people's lives better.
Naveco had this moment in late 2015. The desire to improve New Brunswick's economy and environment with the help of local communities. Now, almost 2 years later, Naveco is on the brink of bringing more clean energy to New Brunswick.
A $1 million retrofit will be done to a Fredericton building to cut GHG emissions by an estimated 146 tonnes annually and cut the energy cost by over 50%.
Not only will a retrofit be done, but a windfarm may be developed as well. Over 150 MW of clean energy could be produced annually as well as create permanent and temporary jobs for local New Brunswickers.
For Naveco, our can-do attitude and “screw it, let’s do it” approach has allowed us to make big strides in the renewable energy sector. We look forward to positively impacting New Brunswick now, and for future generations.
