When you hear the word Tesla, what do you think of? Innovation, future, and electric vehicle? Tesla has been the leader in providing some of the best solar equipment and electric vehicles available, today. However, there are other brands that are creating a wave in the Electric Vehicle (EV) market too:
We have cars like the:
Each car has it’s purposes and each is seen as an innovative approach to reducing emissions. Tesla itself began making cars in the early 2000’s, and the Ioniq came out in 2016. In the next 5 years we think we can expect to see a complete automotive revolution. But why now?
For one, technology has finally been able to give us affordable electric vehicle options. The key word being affordable. The Tesla Model 3 will be running somewhere between $30,000 - $40,000 (before any government tax incentives) and is expected to run around 350 - 400 km of range on a single charge!
With gas prices constantly fluctuating, carbon taxes being implemented, and a worldly movement to radically reduce greenhouse gas emissions, It’s no wonder why automotive companies are jumping on this EV bandwagon.
Will we really see a difference in people's buying behaviour though? We think so. For example, the Tesla model 3 is not available to the public yet. However there are around 400,000 people who have already made a reservation to purchase the vehicle when it does become available.
We’re predicting that in the future we will see an increase in demand for EVs. The course of automotive design and function is changing right in front of our eyes, and we can’t wait to see the next generation of transportation.
